There is an increasing recognition of the effects of stress on men and women, both psychologically and physiologically. Stress is a major cause of heart attack and other serious illnesses. Counselling and therapy are professions which once carried a stigma of being associated only with mental illness, but it is now being seen as the way forward for healthy people to continue in optimum health.

With a wide variety of application and uses, counselling and therapy are being embraced by people who see the importance of freedom from depressive and physical illness, by people with anger management issues, relationship difficulties, addiction problems, stress, victims of abuse, or those simply with a desire for self discovery.

In Pakistan, there is an enormous need for well trained counselling professionals. Therapy Works is offering this first stage of professional training, the Certificate Course in Humanistic Counselling, as an initiation to this important work. It is an opportunity to embark on a training which enables both self discovery and deep insights into ourselves.

Certificate Level-3: After completing Level-2 or after Graduation in any subjects.
The UK Certificate Course in Humanistic Counselling (Level 3) provides a deep insight into yourself that leads to emotional evolution and an inner state of unconditional presence with which the student interacts both with significant others and with clients.

This self awareness is a way of being, not doing, and results from participating in group process in the first half of the once weekly class. The second half provides training in humanistic counselling, both theory skills and practices.
